Proposed Yuma TMP Improvements

The draft Integrated Multimodal Transportation Master Plan (TMP) outlines a variety of proposed projects aimed at improving mobility and safety throughout the City of Yuma. These include roadway and intersection upgrades, as well as enhancements to the city’s bike, pedestrian, and transit networks.

The Yuma Metropolitan Planning Organization (YMPO) hereby gives public notice that it is the Agency’s policy to assure full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), and other related authorities in all of its programs and activities. YMPO’s Title VI and ADA Programs require that “No person in the United States shall, on the grounds of Race, Color, National Origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal Financial Assistance.” Any person, who believes his/her Title VI or ADA rights have been violated, may file a complaint. Any such complaint must be in writing and filed with the YMPO’s Title VI Coordinator within one hundred eighty (180) days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence.
